JOB OPPORTUNITY
Position: Physiotherapist (Male)
Location: MALC Headquarter, Saddar, Karachi.
Gender: Male
Nature of Job: Field-based position involving visits to communities and rehabilitation centers.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Education & Experience
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant professional council, where applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience in physical rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, neurological conditions, or disability management will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments and evaluate patients' mobility, strength, posture, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, balance, coordination, and muscle strength.
- Support patients with physical disabilities, developmental delays, and neurological conditions.
- Conduct field visits to communities and rehabilitation centers to assess patients and provide physiotherapy services.
- Travel to assigned field locations as required for patient assessments, rehabilitation activities, and follow-up visits.
- Assist patients in improving functional independence and activities of daily living.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Educate patients, parents, and caregivers on exercises and home-based rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.
