The Role (Women Field Facilitator)
- Work under the guidance and supervision of gender cum communication expert and PU Managers in close coordination with project region coordinators, and their field team.
- Prepare the detailed plan for implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Decent Work practices, cotton picking training and entrepreneur models at Learning Groups/Producer Units.
- Frequent travelling in fields of district sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tando Allahyar and Matiari for meeting and training of farmers.
- Set up demo plots and data collection of these demo plots with support of Technical Training Specialist
- Contribute towards the sustainability of Producer Units while developing business models for women workers to generate income alternatively.
- Ensure the on-time collection, credibility and quality of all types of data as related to Decent Work adoption, research or impact assessments.
- Collect and compile the success stories, blogs and activity details as the result of introduced interventions and report preparation.
- Facilitate the credibility check conducted by donors or 3rd parties.
- Organize and conduct meetings, workshops, seminars, visits, and briefings as and when required.
- Contribute towards publishing science-oriented work in renowned peer-reviewed journals.
- Any other assignments required for satisfactory completion of the key role requirements.
Education :
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in agriculture (Agronomy, Soil Sciences, Entomology, Plant Protection, and Plant Pathology).
Experience:
- Good knowledge of social norms of Sindh
- Highly skilled in facilitation, motivation and communication.
- Demonstrate knowledge of experimental protocol optimization
Personal Characteristics:
- Strong organisational and learning skills;
- A team player with good interpersonal, communication and networking skills;
- Comfortable working on one’s own initiative as well as following advice;
- Flexible and creative in planning and problem solving;
- Ability to deal with cultural differences of colleagues, donors and partners globally;
- Willing to travel to remote and challenging locations in Pakistan.
ROLE DETAILS
Reporting to: Gender cum Communication Expert

Contract: 1 year with three months probation period. The placement will be made through third-party contracting firm (United Human Resource Services Pvt. Ltd).
Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Communication Allowance, EOBI, paid leaves, and transport will be provided for project work.
Benefits cost will be deducted from gross salary.
Location: Matiari, Hala, Tando Allahyar, Saeedabad, Khipro, Shahdadpur, Singhoro : Local candidates will be given preference.
