Job Description- M&E Officer

Job Location: Merged District North Waziristan

Core Job Responsibilities/Specifications: The integrated M&E Officer’s responsibilities/specifications include but are not limited to the following:

  • The development of monitoring and evaluation framework and of processes and tools:
  • Provision of training and technical assistance to field teams regarding collection of the required project data.
  • Ensure timely process monitoring of project activities by using approved project indicators and targets, and to highlight the areas of improvements for future improvements.
  • Support regular data collection, conduct analysis of data and prepare reports in collaboration with the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the reporting systems for preparing project reports as per the donor formats/requirements.
  • Represent organization positively and professionally both inside and outside the organization.
  • Adhere to organizational policies/procedures including finance, human resources, security, procurement and logistics; and ensure staff compliance.
  • Write a variety of documents and analytical reports, e.g. data summaries, weekly reports, assessment reports, daily reports, work plans, monitoring plan, final reports etc.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested from time to time.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to train/ coach staff and give occasional presentations
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Pashto is required.
  • Fluency in English writing and speaking is required.
  • Problem solving
  • Computer skills with fluency in Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Must have master degree in Management Sciences, Social Sciences or any other related subject/s.
  • Demonstrated work experience of 5+ years is required in the same area of work.

Note: Positions will be filled on rolling basis.
