Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for seasoned and dynamic Field Engineer under GAVI-SNIP Project.

The incumbent will be responsible for site supervision of all the Renovation, Major & Minor Repair Works at South & GBC Regions and provide technical support to the Management and assisting in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation through maintaining appropriate relationship with regulator bodies and regional units.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Renovation, Major & Minor Repair Works from start to finish
  • Ensure all work activities comply with the project plans and deadlines
  • Ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Manage selection, delivery and quality of construction materials and works
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to management
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays in the project quickly
  • Uphold high standards of quality and employ proper construction techniques
  • Collaborate with architects and other construction specialists
  • Ensure all work adheres to legal requirements and safety regulations
  • As far as possible, pursue sustainable, green and energy saving solutions for all facilities
  • Assist in the Preparation of a Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual specific to the facility

Education, Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering
  • At least 4-5 years of experience working in the field of construction/built environment
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of drawings, specification, bill of quantities, etc
  • Confidence to represent externally including public speaking if required
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize and plan your own work to meet designated deadlines
  • Ability to work independently of others and manage your time and priorities your work without being in a formal office environment
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate with good MS Office Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and externally
