Scope of Work The scope of work for this assignment includes:
1. Design and Delivery of Training Program:
Conduct three-day comprehensive training sessions for farmers on oyster mushroom cultivation.
- Cover key topics such as:
- Introduction to mushroom cultivation and its socio-economic benefits.
- Introduction to Mushroom Farm Tools/Raw Material
- Practical- Wheat Straw Compost Processing
- Practical Demonstration of Steam Pasteurization/Chemical Sterilization
- Introduction to Mushroom Cultivation Procedure & Spawn Production Technologies
- Compost Processing (Addition of Wheat Bran Step-II)/Placing compost out of water solution on net-bed /steep floor
- Compost Processing (Filling bags and Steam pasteurization Step-III)/Compost filling and inoculation with spawn
- Mushrooms Post harvest handling
- Introduction to Mushroom packing, Marketing, Preservation Methods, and Mushroom Cooking Recipes
2. Sessions with Farmers Field Schools (FFS):
- Conduct a total of 10 FFS sessions (5 with each FFS), distributed as follows:
- Session 1: At the time of sowing mushrooms.
- Session 2: Seven days after sowing (Initial spawn run).
- Session 3: Fifteen days after sowing (Spawn run completion).
- Session 4: 25–28 days after sowing (Pinhead stage). \
- Session 5: During harvesting.
