Overview of position

Background Information Pakistan:

Committed to Good – CTG is working in Pakistan through their local registered Partners “Creative Business Consulting (Pvt) Ltd.  They are providing services to their clients (United Nation/UN Agency) to make significant strides in promoting sustainable development, aiding the federal and provincial government in SDGs attainment, and establishing itself as a reliable provider of efficient services for development programming around Climate Adaptation, Basic Service Delivery and Energy Efficiency, Operational since 1999. The client (United Nation/UN Agency) is part of the Sri Lanka Multi-Country Office in the Asia Pacific Region.

Role objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Construction Supervision and Management:

       Oversee daily construction activities of the incinerator civil works.

       Implement and maintain quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures, including stage testing, verification, and documentation.

       Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to project schedule, budget, and quality standards.

       Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

       Verify contractor compliance with project requirements and manage necessary approvals.

       Prepare and maintain detailed progress reports, including photographs and documentation.

  1. Reporting

       Prepare and submit comprehensive site progress reports to the Project Manager.

       Participate in site coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

       Conduct quantity surveys and prepare progress payment recommendations.

       Manage project documentation, including permits, inspections, and correspondence.

  1. Knowledge Management and Sharing:

       Provide support in documenting project challenges and lessons learned.

       Contribute to knowledge transfer and training of project team members.

       Adhere to CBC/CTG construction and engineering best practices, environmental management standards, and health and safety regulations.

       Participate in relevant communities of practice and share project experiences.

  1. Monitoring and Progress Control:

       Track project schedule and identify potential delays or risks.

       Monitor site activities, including materials, labour, and equipment.

       Participate in project stakeholder meetings.

       Proactively identify and address quality, timeliness, and safety issues. Qualifications and Experience

Education:

        A high school diploma is the minimum academic requirement for this role
