About :

 A national non-profit organization operating in Peshawar - KP, is looking for qualified, dedicated and experienced individuals to fill the following Positions for a donor-funded Education Project, in district Buner & Shangla-KP

Required Qualification :

Education/ Community Liaison Officer  (Female)

 Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field

Required Experience Skill :

  • Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, education outreach, or child-focused programming.

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct sessions and engage diverse community members, especially women and caregivers.

  • Basic skills in documentation and data entry.

  • Commitment to child protection, gender equality, and inclusive education.

  • Willingness to travel daily to schools and surrounding communities

Key Responsibilities :

1. Planning and Preparation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly activity schedules in consultation with the District Coordinator.

  • Assist in mapping targeted schools and communities, identifying Out-of-School Children (OOSC), and planning school-based outreach activities.

  • Coordinate with school management, School Based Project Teachers and local leaders for smooth execution of planned activities.

  • Conduct planning with PTCs and schools.

2. Implementation of Project Activities

  • Mobilize parents and communities for enrolment drives of OOSC (ECE–Grade 2), and Girls’ Clubs.

  • Identify PTCs and other community-based volunteers structures at village level, plan their revitalization

  • Support teachers in implementing remedial education activities and facilitate learning assessments.

  • Organize and support the formation and regular functioning of Girls’ Clubs and STEAM Club sessions.

  • Facilitate co-curricular activities aligned with project objectives, including child-focused awareness events.

  • Assist in the identification and nomination of teachers for TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level), Urdu, English, and Math trainings.

  • Support distribution of learning materials and track their use in classrooms.

3. Organizing and Conducting Events

  • Conduct SBCC (Social and Behavior Change Communication) events, awareness sessions, and parent engagement meetings.

  • Organize school-level activities, learning festivals, exhibitions, and community engagement events.

  • Support education officers in conducting orientations and student-focused gatherings.

4. Liaison and Community Engagement

  • Serve as the key link between the school, community, and project teams.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with head teachers, PTC/SMC members, and local influencers.

  • Sensitize parents and caregivers about the importance of girls’ education and early grade learning.

  • Facilitate regular school visits and community meetings to sustain support and cooperation.

  • Liaise with PTCS and other community volunteer structures

5. Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Maintain updated school profiles, including student enrolment, attendance, learning progress, and material inventory.

  • Keep records of Girls’ Club members, session plans, and attendance logs.

  • Ensure proper filing (digital or hard copy) of activity forms, consent sheets, and distribution lists.

6. Reporting and Communication

  • Submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the District Coordinator.

  • Document case studies, success stories, and field observations.

  • Communicate any field-level challenges, risks, or changes to the District Coordinator in a timely manner.

7. Follow-ups and Monitoring

  • Conduct regular follow-ups on student attendance, learning outcomes, and retention.

  • Monitor the utilization of learning materials in classrooms.

  • Identify early warning signs of dropout and engage parents through follow-up visits.

  • Track progress of teachers and schools after training sessions.

  • Monitor activities of school-based teachers.

8. Data Gathering and Field Support

  • Collect baseline and routine monitoring data using project-prescribed formats and tools.

  • Support MEAL team in verification exercises, surveys, and assessments.

  • Provide feedback on community perceptions and acceptance of interventions.

  Candidates knowing the local languages will be given preference
