About :

 A national non-profit organization operating in Peshawar - KP, is looking for qualified, dedicated and experienced individuals to fill the following Positions for a donor-funded Education Project, in district Buner & Shangla-KP

Required Qualification :

District Coordinator ( 01 Male and 01 Female)

Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s in Education, Development Studies, or Social Sciences

Required Experience Skill :

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in field-level coordination, preferably in education, child protection, or community-based development projects.

  • Sectoral Knowledge: Familiarity with district-level education systems, inclusive programming, and community engagement strategies.

  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and facilitation abilities.

  • Proven ability in documentation, reporting, and data management.

  • Experience working with government departments and community stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the district and conduct regular school visits

Key Responsibilities :

1. Formulation and Planning

  • Lead the design and planning of district-level activities in consultation with the Project Manager, technical team, district staff, and education department.

  • Develop district work plans based on the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and ensure their timely rollout.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual district-level project plans.

  • Support the identification of school needs, priorities, and context-specific adaptations for effective implementation.

  • Coordinate district-level integrated planning with consortium partners and facilitate their activities.

2. Implementation Oversight

  • Lead and coordinate the field-level implementation of ILMpact project activities in the assigned district.

  • Oversee school selection, student enrolment drives, teacher identification, screening camps, learning material distribution, and summer camps.

  • Ensure timely and equitable delivery of learning materials to schools and students.

  • Resolve implementation challenges through timely coordination and communication.

  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to field teams.

  • Ensure intra-team coherence and integration of activities.

3. Coordination and Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with district Education Department officials, school leaders, PTCs/SMCs, and other local stakeholders.

  • Organize and facilitate coordination meetings with schools and government departments to align activities and build ownership.

  • Ensure timely communication and preparedness among school staff for all project activities and training events.

  • Liaise with district administration for support in implementing project activities.

  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for training and school visits by master trainers.

  • Maintain active communication with the Project Manager regarding priorities, adaptations, and corrective actions.

4. Team Management and Leadership

  • Supervise Community Liaison Officers, admin/logistics staff, Disability & Inclusion Officer, and local trainers.

  • Conduct regular field visits, team meetings, and one-on-one check-ins to ensure quality and performance.

  • Foster internal team collaboration and alignment with project protocols.

  • Set objectives for field staff and conduct periodic appraisals and performance reviews.

5. Facilitation and Presentation

  • Oversee and support the facilitation of SMC/PTC meetings, teacher orientations, and community mobilization events.

  • Represent the project at district-level events and during visits by donors, National NGO senior management, or consortium partners.

  • Deliver briefings, updates, and presentations to stakeholders as required.

  • Present district progress during review meetings with the Project Manager and Head Office.

6. Reporting and Communication

  • Maintain updated district-level data and records, including enrolment figures, training attendance, assessment results, and material distribution.

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, incident logs, and field monitoring updates.

  • Contribute to documentation of success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.

7. Budget Management and Monitoring

  • Monitor the utilization of resources and logistics within the district to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Prevent delays and wastage by ensuring timely requisitions and implementation.

  • Coordinate with the Admin/Finance team to track expenditures in accordance with approved budgets.

8. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

  • Conduct field-level monitoring of interventions such as remedial learning, Girls Clubs, and STEAM sessions.

  • Use standard tools and feedback mechanisms to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support MEAL team in assessments, evaluations, and verification exercises.

  • Review and submit success stories and case studies to the Project Manager.

9. Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate, organized records of school-level data including training logs, attendance registers, and delivery trackers.

  • Ensure systematic filing (both digital and hard copies) of reports, meeting minutes, and key correspondence.

  • Assist the MEAL team in preparing documentation for evaluations, audits, and data verifications.

  Candidates knowing the local languages will be given preference
