Right To Play is a global non-government organization that uses the transformative power of play to educate and empower children facing adversity. It was founded in 2000 by four-time Olympic gold medalist and social entrepreneur Johann Olav. Right To Play is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Right To Play is seeking applications from potential youth for the Head Coach, Details as below:

Role and Responsibilities of Head Coach:

  • Conduct daily field visits to project sites: NFE centers and to orphanages in Karachi.
  • Give at least 5 hours of her daily time, at least 5 days a week, to support NFE teachers and orphanages to lead play-based sessions with children and youth in Non-Formal Centers and Community Centers and Orphanages and or Schools in Karachi.
  • Organize sports events, Play days, camps, ceremonies, etc. in the Communities/ NFE Centers/ orphanages/ schools.
  • Support program team in organizing training and meetings of NFE teachers, and with the management of orphanages.
  • Collection of reach data, field monitoring tools to provide data to MEL team. Data cleaning, reporting and validation.
  • Capture case studies and success stories, get consents of children, parents, individuals on photo/video consent forms.
  • Regular updates of the activities and field visits must be updated and shared with the Supervisor daily in the form of written reports.
  • Making plan and track project progress to make informed decisions.

Safeguarding and Child Protection

  • Abide by Right To Play's child Safeguarding policy, sign the document 'Standards of Practice’.
  • Ensure all project activities are safe, respectful and protect the rights of all Children.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification required is graduation, bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 01 year of experience working in field with communities, or in schools or non-formal education settings. Strong skills in report writing, planning, communication, and interpersonal relations. Eager to learn and grow. This volunteer position involves daily field visits, sometimes including Saturdays.
