Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger. With operations in over 45 countries, ACF works to save the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger. In Pakistan, ACF has been actively engaged in nutrition, food security, WASH, and disaster risk reduction interventions.
Position Summary:
ACF is seeking qualified and motivated Enumerators to support data collection for a Post Distribution Monitoring Survey under the Anticipatory Response Project in District Thatta. The Data Entry operator will be responsible for Data Entry of PDM forms, ensuring high data quality and adherence to protocols. This is a short-term assignment ideal for candidates with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Mission 1: Data Entry:
This position is responsible for:
- Participate in all mandatory training sessions and daily debriefings.
- Check the quality of the data to be entered and inform the immediate supervisor of any problems;
- Calculate the time needed for data entry and keep your immediate supervisor informed of its progress.
- Input the data from the various tools in the agreed upon format ;
- Check and clean the entered data;
- Summarize the entered data in the form of a report.
Mission 2: Data Analysis
This position is responsible for:
- Elaborate statistics tables to sort and cross the data.
- Write a report on the results.
- Propose improvements in data collection.
Mission 3: Data Filing;
This position is responsible for:
- File the data collection tools and computer data.
- Save the data entries regularly as well as the statistical results.
- Keep hard and Soft data organized with Proper Filing.
Mission 4: Ensure compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies;
This position is responsible for:
- Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies
- Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens
- Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work effectively both in team and independently
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably in development or humanitarian projects.
- Experience with baseline assessments, surveys, or monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data is an asset.
