Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Research: 

The successful candidate will assist with research and contribute to developing policy-driven evidence

base.

Indicative tasks include:

  1. Development of data collection tools for quantitative and qualitative data as may be necessary
  2. Data collection, preparation, entry and analysis
  3. Conducting or assisting with literature reviews
  4. Assisting with manuscript preparation

Program Delivery:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting program delivery

Tasks will include the following: 

  1. Plan and organize various events and trainings;
  2. Conducting Advocacy and Lobbying Meetings with district level stakeholders;
  3. Writing Events and Activities Reports;
  4. Keeping regular track of all field activities;
  5. Keeping track of all the statistical data for all program activities;
  6. Supervising and monitoring the implementation of various activities;
  7. Assisting in the planning and programming of projects to persons of concern;
  8. Assist in monitoring compliance to the organization’s resource allocation framework, providing support and indicating the corrective actions where required and drawing attention of the program manager towards these areas.
  9. Implementing and monitoring the delivery of the media strategy and plan;
  10. Coordination and networking with Implementing Partners and other NGOs, CSO, and CBOs;
  11. Perform any other official task assigned by the Program Manager and Chief Legal Advisor.

Strategic planning and development:

 

The successful candidate will support planning further program ideas and extensions and will actively be involved with LAS and Program Management in program design.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**

  1. Required advanced level of English, reading, writing for drafting of various reports, also knowledge of Urdu and Sindhi. 
  2. Creative, energetic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Ability to work well in a team.
  4. Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  5. Demonstrated flexibility, motivation, and maturity
  6. Willingness to work and live-in harsh conditions.
  7. A proven track record of success in varied endeavors
  8. Excellent critical thinking / problem solving ability
  9. A track record of strong initiative, priority setting, and follow-through
  10. Solid interpersonal skills and team-building effectiveness

EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Experience will be 2 to 3 Years in related field.

Min. Level of Education:

 

BA/MA/MSc
