HANDS is seeking a professional photographer consultant to provide comprehensive coverage of its core programs, including Health, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Infrastructure, Inclusive Development and Education. The consultant will be responsible for capturing high-quality images, documenting impactful case studies, and recording interviews with key program beneficiaries. This material will be used to enhance HANDS’ communication efforts through reports, publications, and digital platforms, ensuring a detailed visual and narrative representation of program activities.

HANDS was founded by Prof. A. G. Billoo (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) in 1979. HANDS has evolved in 44 years as one of the largest Non-Profit Organizations of the country. We have an integrated development approach and disaster management expertise.

Currently HANDS working with a network of 36 branches across the country is empowering a population of more than 36 million settled in 36,523 villages in 65 districts of Pakistan. HANDS strength is 13 Volunteer Board Members, > 11,000 workforce and thousands of community-based volunteers of more than 7,800 partner organizations. HANDS is benefitting more than 9 million beneficiaries with PKR 6.1 Billion Grant.

HANDS is registered under the Societies Act, certified by Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP) and Tax exempted by the Income Tax Department Government of Pakistan.

Scope of Work:

• Capture high-resolution images of all HANDS program activities, including Health, WASH, Infrastructure, Inclusive Development, and Education.
• Ensure images are suitable for both digital and print media.
• Collaborate with program teams to identify and document key case studies, focusing on beneficiaries, challenges, and success stories.
• Record high-quality audio of interviews and testimonials from beneficiaries for multimedia use.
• Ensure all data aligns with HANDS’ objectives and communication standards.

Deliverables:

• High-resolution photographs for each program activity in both raw and edited formats.
• Well-documented case studies with supporting photographs and recorded voices of beneficiaries.
• Clear, professional audio files suitable for podcasts or multimedia projects.
• A detailed report summarizing the photographic work, case studies, and key findings.

Duration:

• 1 month to visit HANDS program locations and complete the assignment in collaboration with HANDS teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in professional photography, particularly in development or humanitarian sectors.
• Ability to record and manage high-quality audio files.
• Familiarity with WASH, Health, Education, or similar projects.
• Ability to work in diverse, challenging environments and meet deadlines.
