Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and analyses to inform the strategy, including market research, economic trends, and stakeholder needs.
- Provide expert technical assistance to project team in the implementation of the economic growth strategy.
- Provided assistance in conducting workshops, and seminars to enhance the skills and knowledge of field teams.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on the status and outcomes of economic growth activities for project management.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and private sector partners at field level to support the implementation of the economic growth strategy.
- Provide technical assistance and advisory services to local businesses to improve their productivity, operational efficiency, and competitiveness.
- Provide assistance to PO Economic growth in preparing for investment opportunities for SMEs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.
- Support youth and women in developing existing entrepreneurship skills and creating opportunities for their participation in the private sector.
- Monitor the progress of private sector development initiatives, ensuring alignment with project outputs.
- Execute the economic growth strategies and plans at the district level, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, including government departments, businesses, and community organizations, to facilitate strategy implementation.
- Monitor and support the execution of economic growth initiatives, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that all field activities adhere to project standards and quality requirements.
- Track and report on the progress of economic growth activities at the district level.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the impact and effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on field activities, progress, and outcomes for project management.
- Identify and resolve issues or challenges encountered during the implementation of economic growth strategies.
- Develop and implement solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure successful execution of field activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities related to economic growth implementation at the district level.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Proven 5 years of experience in the implementation of economic development initiatives, preferably at the district or field level.
- Strong understanding of economic growth strategies, stakeholder engagement, and field-level coordination.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation, with an ability to collect, analyze, and report on data effectively.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills to adapt strategies based on field conditions.
- Proficiency in using data collection and reporting tools.
