Purpose
Supply Chain Officer ensures and carries out order fulfilment activities in accordance with service level agreements. S/he ensures that all customers’ needs are understood, met, delivered, and well communicated. Coordination with customers and providing real time information on regular basis and reports preparation and sharing time to time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and manages the Supply Chain related activities with the team.
- Ensures the SC workflow is managed well to ensure good customer service.
- Ensure the on time in full (OTIF) delivery is fulfilled and monitored in Tableau.
- Ensures processes are managed correctly in the system (JDE) and takes corrective actions.
- Monitors SC team Profiles statistics in Tableau, identifies weak points and proposes corrective actions to improve SC tasks management performance.
- Coordinates with the buyers for the follow-up of the delivery schedule of the goods.
- Informs buyers in case of potential quantity or quality issues reported by customers for supplier claims.
- Coordinates all distribution channel through logistics.
- Ensures customer goods confirmation in JDE/Iris is completed and statistics is maintained on a good level.
- Follows up the Import/Export tasks management with the Impex Officer.
- Coordinates the SC related activities in the country, regional level and with the counterparts in GVA HQ level.
- Responsible for the follow-up process from request to the delivery of the goods to the requester
- Ensures that orders are delivered on time.
- Maintains proactive relation with the requesters.
- Ensures of having an overall knowledge of the projects, for which specific needs are requested.
- Any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Main Requirements :
1) University degree (Bachelor's/Masters) in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
2) Minimum 04 years of relevant experience, preferably with Non-Government, Humanitarian or similar organizations.
3) Knowledge of Supply chain strategies, networking and order management.
4) Computer proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
5) Experience with ERP (enterprise resource planning software) is an asset.
6) Good command of spoken and written English & Urdu.
7) Excellent analytical and reporting writing skills
8) Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
