Job Purpose
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for engaging with the Married Women of Reproductive Age (MWRAs) of BISP beneficiaries, conducting awareness sessions on Family Planning (FP) services, conducting mapping of healthcare providers in coordination with Social Mobilizers and ensuring effective dissemination of FP-related materials. The Officer will actively collect feedback, facilitate referrals, and regularly visit FP service providers to ensure the smooth implementation of activities within their designated tehsil or district.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with the MWRAs (Married Women of Reproductive Age (15-49) who are BISP beneficiaries to raise awareness about FP services and methods.
- Build trust and rapport with the local community to ensure active participation and engagement in FP activities.
- Plan and conduct educational sessions on Family Planning services for BISP beneficiaries and other members of the local community.
- Capacity building of PPs and Mother Ambassadors for the services delivery
- Provide information on the available FP methods, benefits, and how to access services, ensuring that the sessions are culturally relevant and tailored to the community's needs.
- Distribute FP-related publications and materials (pamphlets, brochures, posters, etc.) to all relevant stakeholders, including community leaders, healthcare providers, and local beneficiaries.
- Ensure that these materials are updated and reflect the latest information on FP services and methods.
- Collect feedback from MWRAs and spouses of BISP MWRAs regarding the quality and accessibility of FP services.
- Verify the LARC services up to certain % as prescribed by the organization/ assigned targets
- Identify challenges or gaps in service delivery and assist in making referrals to appropriate FP service providers for further support or services.
- Conduct regular monthly field visits to FP service providers in the tehsil or district to monitor the smooth operation of FP activities.
- Ensure that the providers are following standard protocols, maintaining the infection control and sterilization of equipment’s and that FP services are accessible and being provided to the community in an efficient and high-quality manner.
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with communities and stakeholders.
- Skilled in report writing and documenting feedback.
- Basic understanding of monitoring and evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of IUCD insertion, HTSP, Infection prevention SBMR. Client exit interviews
QUALIFICATION
Minimum LHVs/Midwife with PNC registeration
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years field experience with any NGOs in quality assurance, family planning, or community health services.
