Job Description:

• Provide technical guidance to teachers and education staff in the delivery of curriculum for both RV primary schools and ALP centres (primary and secondary levels).
• Monitor and evaluate teaching methodologies to ensure child-cantered, inclusive, and participatory learning practices.
• Develop and implement teacher training programs to enhance professional skills, particularly in multi-grade teaching and activity-based learning.   

• Identify training needs and conduct capacity-building sessions for teachers and education facilitators.
• Facilitate workshops on gender sensitivity, child protection, MHPSS and classroom management.
• Support the development of lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools.
• On job training of RV school and ALP teachers by visiting the RV schools and ALP centers regularly

• Conduct regular field visits to schools and ALP centres to assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on education program progress, challenges, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to collect and analyse data to improve program outcomes.

Education:

• M.Phil. degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. (M.Phil is MUST)

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in education programming, preferably in refugee or marginalized settings.
• Strong knowledge of formal and non-formal education systems, including ALP.

• Proficiency in child-cantered and inclusive teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare detailed reports.
• Fluency in Pashto and Urdu; knowledge of English is an asset.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel extensively to remote refugee villages.
