Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct periodic data validation exercises including on-site visits, virtual checks and collaborate with SRs to validate data accuracy.
2. Execute monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annual data validation for all assigned SRs. This includes review and validation of both electronic (MIS/DHIS II tracker) and hard copy of data to identify and rectify discrepancies.
3. Compile respective SR data for inclusion in Data Bank after final review.
4. Compilation and consolidation of their respective assigned SRs in program areas.
5. Build capacity of DFSs/district teams on data quality and reporting.
6. Reconcile MIS, DHIS2 and hard data with monthly reports.
7. Assist data team in designing and development of tools to be used for recording, reporting, analysis purpose.
8. Assist data team during capacity building and data quality audits of SRs.
9. Assist data team in development of dashboards, analysis, reports, presentations using Excel, JIRA, MIS, DHIS2 and Power Point.
10. Provide constructive feedback to SRs based on the validation exercises and offer training as needed to improve data quality and reporting practices.
11. Contribute inputs for SRs’ management letters to Advisor Reporting and Coordination, including findings, achievements and areas for improvement and ensure that management letter effectively communicate insights and recommendations derived from data validation activities.
12. Work closely with Senior Program Officer – Data Validation to ensure overall data accuracy across all assigned SRs, timely communication of issues and support to address these issues.
13. Any other task assigned by the supervisor and management.
